For silicone screen printing, smaller glitter particles are generally suitable when using a 135-mesh screen.
Generally speaking, 100-250-mesh screens are suitable for printing inks containing larger particles, such as glitter. A 135-mesh screen falls in the middle of this range. Considering the mesh size and the permeability of glitter particles, glitter specifications ranging from 1/64 inch (approximately 0.4mm) to 1/32 inch (approximately 0.8mm) can be selected. Glitter in this size range is relatively easy to pass through a 135-mesh screen while still ensuring good printing quality.
