What are the requirements for glitter materials when silk-screen printing on silicone?
Glitter materials vary in gloss, corrosion resistance, and high-temperature resistance. For example, PVC glitter and PVC laser glitter are not acid-, alkali-, or high-temperature resistant, with a maximum temperature resistance of around 60°C. PET glitter and PET laser glitter are acid-, alkali-, and high-temperature resistant up to around 190°C. Metallic glitter is acid-, alkali-, and high-temperature resistant up to around 250°C and is primarily used for injection molding. The choice should be based on the environment and requirements of the silicone product being used.
