What materials are suitable for direct embossing process?

The direct embossing process of molds is mainly suitable for the following clothing materials:

Leather Fabrics:
Leather fabrics have good compatibility with the embossing process and can form clear, three-dimensional patterns.
Embossing is widely used on leather fabrics, such as for embossed denim, leather jackets, and leather belts.

Textile Fabrics:
Textile fabrics such as cotton, linen, silk, and synthetic fibers can also be processed using the direct embossing mold process.
The embossed textile fabrics have unique three-dimensional effects and decorative features, enhancing the added value of the fabric.

Composite Materials:
Fabrics made from multiple materials, such as coated fabrics, laminated fabrics, etc., are also suitable for the direct embossing mold process.

In actual operation, the direct embossing process typically involves applying a layer of embossing silicone onto the fabric, fixing it in place with a mold, and then using a heat press machine for embossing. The embossed fabric must meet certain hardness requirements to ensure that the pattern remains three-dimensional after high-temperature washing. Additionally, the embossing process can be combined with other techniques, such as hot stamping, glue dripping, heat transfer printing, or flocking, to enrich the fabric's decorative effects and functionality.
