Silicone Screen printing machines have two squeegees, one for the printing squeegee and the other for the ink delivery squeegee. The printing squeegee and the ink delivery squeegee make alternating reciprocating motions when the printing machine is working. When printing, the printing squeegee squeezes the ink to print. After the return stroke, the printing squeegee is lifted and separated from the screen printing plate, and the ink delivery squeegee starts to work. The squeegee contacts the screen printing plate and sends the ink back. The working procedures of the printing squeegee and the ink delivery squeegee are: when printing, the printing squeegee scrapes the ink from one end (starting end) of the screen printing plate to the other end (end). In order to ensure that the printing squeegee has enough ink when scraping again, the squeegee delivery squeegee must scrape the ink back to the original position of the ink. Therefore, in addition to the printing squeegee, the screen printing machine must also be equipped with an ink delivery squeegee to send the ink back to the end of the screen printing plate. In addition to delivering ink, the ink delivery squeegee also serves the purpose of blocking the mesh of the image with ink to prevent the ink in the mesh from drying and affecting the next printing. The silicone screen printing ink delivery squeegee is mostly made of aluminum or metal.
When scraping by hand, only one squeegee is used, and this squeegee is used for printing and ink return.
