STEP 1: Base & Color coating
Silicone ink AS6232HA mix color paste at ratio about 10%-20% and stir well then adding catalyst AS-3（Average dry curing catalyst）or AS-5(slow dry curing catalyst) at ratio 10:1 by the weight(use a electric scale)print on PET release film ,total print 5 times depend on situation,after every printing need to put PET release film bake dry(setting baking temperature at about 120℃,every time bake about 1 minute) then go forward to next time printing
STEP 2 :Print middle layer silicone AS6820NKB as cross linker
Mix middle layer silicone AS6820NKB with catalyst AS-A100 or AS-A50 at ratio 5%-10% by the weight(use a electric scale),adding diluents/thinner(AS-P-2) at ratio 15%-17% by the weight(use a electric scale) then mixed together and stir well,total print 2 times,after every printing need to put PET release film bake dry(setting baking temperature at about 120℃,every time bake about 1 minute) then go forward to next time printing
STEP 3 :Print hot-melt glue AS-HMT-6
Adding diluents/thinner[cyclohexanon & Isophorone (IPHO)] at ratio 5%-10% by the weight(use a electric scale)to liquid the glue because if glue too thick will cause choke the mesh screen, cyclohexanone with Isophorone (IPHO) ratio as 70:30 ,For example, add 5 to 10 grams of diluents/thinner into 100 grams of hot melt glue which including 7 grams of cyclohexanone and 3 grams of Isophorone (IPHO), total print 5 times,after every printing need to put PET release film bake dry(setting baking temperature at about 120℃,every time bake about 1 minute) then go forward to next time printing,bake it several times,the transfer print label finished.
STEP 4: Put the finished label in the oven to bake about 60 minutes @ 90℃
STEP 5: Print the transfer label on the fabric
Use press machine heat press the label on the fabric,temperature 160℃@15 seconds for transfer front side and @10 seconds for reverse side,after it gets cool,tear the paper.The label will be firmly stick with fabric
Standard process :
Screen: 150-230 mesh count
Diluents/Thinner: for silicone inks use AS-P-2,for hot-melt glue use cyclohexanone & Isophorone (IPHO);
Screen washing: for silicone inks use AS-P-2,for hot-melt glue use cyclohexanone
Baking temperature: 120 degrees;
Common screen printing procedures
Base & Color coating: 5-10 times, depending on the situation;
Print middle layer: 2 times, depending on the situation;
Print hot-melt glue:5 times, depending on the situation;
Standard glue mixing process description Glue mixing tools: electronic scale, glue mixing knife, glue mixing container;
Adjust transparent glue: generally use transparent silica gel(AS6232HA) for base and color coating, add 10% curing agent;
