Key principles of color mixing.
The color paste ratio determines the color tone:
For example, when adjusting purple, if red accounts for 70% and blue accounts for 30%, it will tend to be rose purple; otherwise, it will tend to be bluish purple.
It is recommended to mix a small amount first, and gradually add color paste to adjust, to avoid adding too much at one time and causing the color to be too dark.
Complementary color mixing reduces purity:
For example, mixing red and green, yellow and purple, blue and orange will produce gray or brown (because complementary colors offset each other's hue and increase grayness), which can be used to adjust too bright colors.
The role of white and black:
White: brightens the color brightness (such as dark blue + white → light blue), or reduces the color saturation (such as pure red + white → pink white).
Black: deepens the color brightness (such as light green + black → dark green), or makes the color more stable (such as orange + a small amount of black → brown orange).
