Self-lubricating silicone seals are made by adding lubricating oil to silicone rubber. After the rubber product is vulcanized and formed, the surface of the silicone seal is smooth and lubricated, which can reduce friction. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) has excellent properties such as chemical stability, high and low temperature resistance, low friction coefficient, and self-lubrication, so it has been widely used in various industries. Therefore, the material of the self-lubricating rubber ring is mostly polytetrafluoroethylene. There are also choices of nitrile rubber and silicone rubber materials, depending on the situation. The product models include self-lubricating silicone ring, self-lubricating silicone O-ring, self-lubricating silicone rectangular ring, self-lubricating silicone Y-ring, self-lubricating silicone V-ring, self-lubricating silicone U-ring, self-lubricating silicone flat gasket, etc.

Specifications Can be used for a long time in the temperature range of -60 degrees ~ +200 degrees.

Performance of self-lubricating silicone sealing ring 1. It has excellent sealing performance and is waterproof and leak-proof.

2. Good preservation effect, completely non-toxic and odorless.

3. It can be heated at high temperature without deformation and no harmful substances.

4. Good tensile strength, after special inspection and testing.

5. Long-term use will not turn yellow or fade.

6. Corona resistance, arc resistance, high and low temperature resistance, good aging resistance, high temperature resistance, in line with FDA and SGS standards.

Advantages:

Heat resistance: Silicone rubber has much better heat resistance than ordinary rubber. It can be used almost forever at 150° without performance changes, can be used continuously for 10,000 hours at 200°, and can also be used for a period of time at 350°. It is widely used in occasions requiring heat resistance, thermos sealing rings, pressure cooker rings and heat-resistant handles.

Cold resistance: The temperature of ordinary rubber is -20°-30°, that is, silicone rubber still has good elasticity at -60°-70°. Some specially formulated silicone rubbers can also withstand extremely low temperatures, such as low-temperature sealing rings.

Disadvantages:

It is not recommended to use in most shrinking solvents, oils, shrinking acids and diluted sodium hydroxide.
