In screen printing, the influence of screen mesh on printing speed
High mesh screen: Its mesh is small, and the ink needs to overcome greater resistance to pass through these fine meshes, so the ink permeability is relatively poor. In order to ensure that the ink can pass through the mesh smoothly for printing, it is often necessary to use ink with better fluidity and finer particles, and it may be necessary to apply greater pressure to push the ink through the mesh when printing.
Low mesh screen: The mesh is large, the resistance when the ink passes through is small, the ink permeability is better, and relatively thick and large-particle ink can be used, and it does not need to apply too much pressure to make the ink pass through the mesh smoothly for printing.
Influence on printing speed
High mesh screen: Due to the difficulty of ink passing through, in order to ensure the printing quality, the printing speed is usually not too fast, and the ink needs to be given enough time to pass through the mesh, so the printing speed is relatively slow.
Low mesh screen: The ink is easy to pass through. Under the premise of ensuring the printing effect, the printing speed can be appropriately increased, and the printing task of large-area patterns can be completed faster.
