How to solve the problem of ink leakage from silicone printing stencil?

The leakage of silicone ink from part of the stencil film is called ink leakage failure. The reasons are: part of the squeegee is damaged: the pressure of the squeegee is high: the gap between the stencil and the substrate is too large: the stencil frame is deformed, the local printing pressure is insufficient: the viscosity of the ink is too high: the ink is uneven: the screen is too fine: the printing speed is too fast, etc.

If the substrate and the silicone ink are mixed with dust, if printing is carried out without treatment, the stencil film will be damaged due to the pressure of the squeegee: the exposure of the wood foot during stencil making will produce pinholes, etc., which will cause the stencil film to leak ink. At this time, you can use adhesive tape to stick it on the back of the stencil for emergency treatment. If this operation is not very quick, the ink on the stencil will dry, and the entire stencil will have to be wiped with a solvent. Wiping the stencil is also the cause of the stencil film peeling, so it is best to avoid it. The ink leakage of the stencil often occurs in the part where the ink stays, so it is best to strengthen this part when making the stencil.

In the process of manual silicone printing, when inserting metal plates and hard plastic plates into the printing table, it is easy for sharp corners to pierce the stencil film, so be very careful. Generally, it is best to check and reinforce before printing. In order to prevent ink leakage, the printing stencil should be checked or repaired before printing begins: the pinholes in the stencil film should be repaired, and the surrounding of the printing stencil should be fully strengthened before printing.
