How to correctly set the parameters of mold silicone thermal transfer?
Temperature: According to the characteristics of silicone and the object to be transferred, the temperature of the thermal transfer equipment should be reasonably set. Generally speaking, the temperature is between 100℃ - 200℃, but different silicone and objects may require fine-tuning. The right temperature can make the silicone mold reach the best softening and fitting state during the transfer process, which helps to clearly transfer the logo pattern. If the temperature is too low, the silicone may not be fully softened, resulting in unclear pattern transfer; if the temperature is too high, the silicone may be over-softened or even deformed, which also affects the clarity of the transfer.
Pressure: It is also important to determine the appropriate transfer pressure. If the pressure is too low, the silicone mold cannot fully contact the surface of the object to be transferred, resulting in unclear pattern transfer; if the pressure is too high, the silicone mold may over-extend the object to be transferred, causing the pattern to deform, which in turn affects the clarity. The optimal pressure should be determined by comprehensively considering the characteristics of the silicone, the material of the object to be transferred, and the complexity of the transfer pattern (as mentioned above, the pressure value is different in different situations).
Time: Set a reasonable transfer time. If the transfer time is too short, the logo may not be fully transferred to the object, resulting in unclear transfer; if the transfer time is too long, the pattern may be deformed or blurred. Generally, the transfer time is between 10 and 60 seconds, which should be adjusted according to the actual situation.
