How to control the state and fluidity of silicone
Silicone hardness selection
Give priority to silicone with 40-50 Shore A: Too low hardness (<30A) is easy to deform, and the three-dimensional part of the pattern is easy to collapse; too high hardness (>60A) has poor fluidity and is difficult to fill the fine parts of the mold.
Mixing and degassing treatment
When mixing silicone with color paste and vulcanizer, it needs to be evenly dispersed (mixing time 5-8 minutes) to avoid color paste particles that are too large (>50μm) causing the pattern surface to be rough.
After mixing, vacuum degassing (-0.1MPa, 10-15 minutes) must be performed to completely remove bubbles: residual bubbles will expand during vulcanization and destroy the integrity of the pattern (such as holes in the middle of letters).
