Silicone Softener

Silicone softener, also known as silicone oils, are compounds with excellent lubrication and softening properties. They are highly effective for enhancing the hand feel, drape, and flexibility of fabric. This, in turn, enhances the overall comfort of the fabric, making it more wearable. This softening effect is achieved due to the fact that the silicone molecule possesses a low surface tension, which allows it to penetrate deep into the fiber structure of the cloth and impart a soft silky feel. This has made Silicone softener the preferred choice for fabric softening, over more conventional softeners such as natural fats and oils.

 

AS-806 Silicone softener is a product designed by our company for a wide range of applications. Essentially, it is a silicone oil that has been emulsified with water, creating a product that can be applied smoothly and evenly to a variety of surfaces and materials. The emulsion is formulated to provide superior coverage, a glossy finish, and water resistance properties that make it ideal for use in applications that require robust, long-lasting protection.

 

It can be used for knitted cotton fabrics. It can imparts cotton fabric more soft and

smooth hand feel. It has features like super soft and smooth, water repellent

treatment.

 

1. Physical appearance: colorless to light yellow transparent liquid

2. Composition: Block silicon oil

3. Ionic properties: Cationic

4. Ph: 5~6

5. Sugar content/Drying solid content: 45/60

 

Processing and dosage: 60g/L dipping and rolling.

Packing and storage:

125KG plastic drum lining with PP bag, shelf life 12 months.

 

Storage condition: It should be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated place.
