General screen printing: Usually the viscosity is more suitable at 20000-100000mPa・s. If it is manual screen printing, the viscosity can be higher, at 50000-100000mPa・s, which is convenient for controlling the flow of silicone and preventing excessive flow of silicone during the printing process, and can better ensure the clarity and accuracy of the printed pattern. When screen printing by machine, the viscosity can be appropriately lower, at 20000-50000mPa・s, which is conducive to the smooth passage of silicone through the screen under the pressure of the machine and the action of the scraper and transferred to the substrate.
Fine pattern printing: For situations where fine patterns or lines need to be printed, the fluidity of the silicone is required to be more controllable, and the viscosity is generally 30000-80000mPa・s. Lower viscosity can make the silicone better fill the fine mesh of the screen to clearly present fine patterns and lines, but it cannot be too low, otherwise it is easy to cause problems such as blurred pattern edges and thick lines.
Special effect printing: If you want to make three-dimensional effects or thick printing, you may need a higher viscosity, generally 80000-700000mPa・s. Higher viscosity can make the silicone maintain a certain thickness and shape after printing, and it is not easy to flow and deform, thus forming a clear three-dimensional effect or thick texture.
