Enterprise qualifications
Legal business qualifications: Exporters must be registered in a member country of the free trade agreement and have legal business qualifications. In my country, it is generally required that enterprises have obtained import and export rights.
Complete filing: Enterprises need to complete relevant filings such as enterprise, product, HS code, etc. For example, register with the customs or the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and provide basic information, business scope, product information and other information of the enterprise for management and review by relevant agencies.
Product origin qualifications
Fully obtained or produced with original materials: Products are completely produced in FTA member countries; or products are produced using materials from FTA member countries.
Regional value component compliance: The value-added ratio of products in FTA member countries meets the prescribed standards, such as 40% stipulated in some agreements. That is, the value of the raw materials, processing costs, labor, etc. of the product generated in the member countries accounts for the proportion of the total value of the product that meets the requirements.
Specific rules of origin: Products must meet specific processing procedures or technical requirements. For example, some products may require specific processing steps in the member countries to change their tariff classification to meet the origin standards.
Documents and information
Complete records: The company must have complete purchase, production and sales records and be able to provide necessary supporting documents. Such as purchase invoices, production process flow sheets, sales contracts, etc., to prove that the production and circulation process of the product complies with the rules of origin.
Authentic and complete information: The information submitted during the application, such as commercial invoices, bills of lading, documents proving the origin, etc., must be authentic, accurate and complete. These documents are important bases for proving the origin of the product and applying for corporate qualifications. Any forgery or omission may result in the rejection of the application.
