Pigment and silicone type adaptation
Silicone system matching:
Condensation type silicone (such as room temperature vulcanized silicone) should avoid using sulfur-containing and halogen-containing color pastes (such as some fluorescent color pastes) to prevent "sulfur poisoning" and incomplete curing.
Addition type silicone (such as high temperature vulcanized silicone) needs to use temperature-resistant color paste (temperature resistance ≥ 200℃) to avoid decomposition and discoloration of the color paste during the vulcanization process.
Solvent compatibility:
Oil-soluble color paste is suitable for oily silicone, and water-based color paste is suitable for water-based silicone. Mixing may cause color paste precipitation or stratification after silicone curing.
Avoid metal container and color paste reaction
Color mixing containers and stirring tools should preferably be made of glass, ceramic or plastic materials, and avoid using metal containers such as iron and copper to prevent metal ions from chemically reacting with pigments in the color paste (such as azo organic pigments), resulting in color variation or abnormal silicone curing.
