2. Disadvantages of Excessive Hardness (> 70 Shore A)
Poor Flexibility & High Cracking Risk: Over-hard silicone is brittle and prone to cracks under bending, stretching or long-term dynamic use; damage rate increases sharply in frequent washing and daily wear scenarios.
Reduced Adhesion Fastness: Insufficient surface elasticity leads to poor fitting with textile substrates; heat-transfer and self-adhesive labels are easy to warp, peel off or fall off.
Uncomfortable Tactile Experience: Obvious foreign body sensation when attached to clothing/footwear, may cause skin irritation or scratches, failing consumer wear experience requirements.
Increased Processing Difficulty: Poor fluidity during molding/extrusion, easy to cause incomplete filling, blurred patterns/edges, and poor surface finish of finished labels.

Poor Shape Retention & Easy Deformation: Lack of stiffness, patterns and characters are easy to collapse and blur; labels may stick together or deform during transportation and storage.
Insufficient Wear & Scratch Resistance: Soft surface is easy to scratch and wear; patterns fade or blur quickly after long-term use, not suitable for daily durable wear.
Poor Adhesive Compatibility: Easy to be pressed thin or displaced during heat transfer processing; reduced bonding strength of hot melt adhesive and back adhesive, leading to easy falling off.
Weak Aging Resistance: Low crosslinking density, easy to yellow, become sticky and age rapidly under long-term sunlight and high temperature exposure.
