How to use two-component silicone for underwear bonding:
Preparation:
First, make sure that the part of the underwear that needs to be bonded is clean, dry, free of oil and impurities. You can use alcohol or special detergent to wipe the surface and wait for it to dry completely. At the same time, prepare measuring tools (such as electronic scales), stirring containers and stirring rods.
Mixing ratio:
Read the product instructions carefully and accurately weigh the two components of silicone A and B according to the specified ratio.
Stir evenly:
Pour the weighed two components of silicone A and B into a clean stirring container, and use a stirring rod to stir thoroughly in one direction to ensure that the two components are completely mixed. During the stirring process, pay attention to scraping the container wall and bottom to avoid uneven mixing. The general stirring time is about 3-5 minutes until the color and texture of the mixture are uniform.
Coating operation:
The mixed silicone glue can be evenly applied to the underwear part that needs to be bonded by coating or calendering, such as the contact surface between silicone and EVA, PVC or cloth substrates. When coating, pay attention to controlling the thickness of the glue layer. Generally, the thickness between 0.1-0.3 mm is more appropriate to ensure that the glue is evenly covered without missing or piling up.
Curing treatment:
Curing is carried out according to product requirements. There are two curing methods for two-component silicone: room temperature curing and heating curing. It can be baked at 90℃ for 540 seconds, or it can be left to stand at room temperature for 60 minutes to cure. During the curing process, the bonding part of the underwear should be kept free from external interference to avoid displacement or deformation. If it is heated curing, an oven or other heating equipment is required to operate according to the specified temperature and time.
