How to solve the problem of unstable air pressure in the dispensing machine?
Check the air source part
Check and adjust the air source pressure:
First check the output pressure setting value of the air compressor (if the air compressor is used to provide the air source). Under normal circumstances, the value should be reasonably set according to the air pressure required by the dispensing machine and the characteristics of the glue liquid. Generally, it can be adjusted through the pressure adjustment knob on the air compressor or the corresponding operation panel to ensure that it outputs stable and meets the required air pressure. For example, if the dispensing machine requires a stable air pressure between 0.4-0.6MPa, then adjust the air compressor output pressure to this range.
If other air sources such as centralized air supply systems are used, contact the relevant air supply management department to confirm whether the air source pressure is normal and stable. If necessary, ask them to assist in adjusting the air pressure to the appropriate range.
Air source equipment maintenance:
For air compressors, regularly clean the air filter inside to prevent dust and other impurities from accumulating too much and affecting the air intake, thereby causing unstable air pressure. According to the requirements of the equipment manual, the filter is usually disassembled for cleaning or replacement of the filter element at regular intervals (such as about a month).
Check the lubricating oil of the air compressor to ensure that the oil level is within the normal range and the oil quality is good. If it is insufficient, add it in time, and replace it in time if it deteriorates. Good lubrication helps the compressor to run stably and maintain stable air pressure. At the same time, check whether the belt of the compressor is properly tight. If it is too loose, it is easy to slip, which affects the working efficiency and air pressure output of the compressor. The belt can be properly tightened by adjusting the tensioning wheel.
Check the air circuit system
Check the air circuit connection:
Along the air circuit pipeline, carefully check whether the joints, valves and other connection parts are loose or leaking. You can use the method of applying soapy water. After applying it on the air circuit connection part, observe whether there are bubbles. If there are bubbles, it indicates that there is a leakage problem here. It is necessary to tighten the joint in time or replace the sealing gasket to repair it to ensure that the air circuit is well sealed.
For some places where quick connectors are used, check whether they are plugged in and out in place. Sometimes, if they are not fully plugged in, it will cause slight leakage, affecting the stability of air pressure. Just plug and unplug them correctly and firmly.
Clean and dredge the gas pipeline:
After long-term use, oil, moisture, impurities, etc. may accumulate inside the gas pipeline, which may cause gas blockage or uneven gas flow, resulting in unstable air pressure. The gas pipeline can be disassembled regularly (for example, every few months), cleaned with a special gas cleaning solvent to remove oil and other impurities, and then blown dry with dry compressed air before reinstalling and using.
Check whether the gas pipeline has bends or excessive twists, which will affect the normal flow of gas, reduce the air pressure or cause fluctuations. Arrange and correct the deformed pipeline to ensure that the gas can pass smoothly.
Check the air pressure control component
Inspect and calibrate the pressure regulating valve:
The pressure regulating valve on the dispensing machine is a key component that directly controls the air pressure. Check whether the pressure regulating valve is working properly. You can use a professional air pressure detection tool to compare whether the set air pressure value displayed by the pressure regulating valve is consistent with the actual output air pressure value. If there is a deviation, perform calibration operations according to the instructions of the pressure regulating valve to accurately output the set air pressure.
Check whether there is any impurity blocking inside the pressure regulating valve. If there is any impurity, it may affect the normal movement of its valve core and other components, resulting in inaccurate air pressure regulation. At this time, the pressure regulating valve can be disassembled, and the internal impurities can be carefully cleaned before reassembling and continuing to use.
Check other components such as solenoid valves:
Check the solenoid valve in the air circuit system to see whether it can normally switch the on and off state of the air circuit when it is powered on and off, and whether the valve core moves flexibly. If the solenoid valve fails, such as the valve core is stuck, it will cause air circuit control disorder and affect the stability of air pressure. The problem can be solved by cleaning the valve core, replacing the damaged spring and other parts inside the solenoid valve, or directly replacing the entire solenoid valve.
For some components with auxiliary air pressure control such as pressure sensors, check whether they are working properly, such as whether the sensor can accurately detect the air pressure and feedback the signal to the control system. If a fault occurs, repair or replace the corresponding components in time to ensure the normal operation of the air pressure control link.
Upgrade or replace related equipment
Consider replacing aging equipment: If the pipes, valves, pressure regulating valves and other components in the gas circuit have been seriously aged after long-term use, even after multiple repairs and maintenance, the problem of unstable air pressure still occurs frequently, then you can consider replacing these aging equipment and choose new components with reliable quality and stable performance to rebuild the gas circuit system to fundamentally solve the problem of unstable air pressure.
Add a pressure stabilizing device: If the gas source pressure itself has certain fluctuations and cannot be completely solved from the gas source end, a special gas pressure stabilizing device can be installed at the front end of the gas circuit of the dispensing machine, such as a pneumatic pressure stabilizing valve, which can automatically adjust the output gas pressure to keep it stable within a certain range, without being greatly affected by gas source fluctuations, and ensure that the dispensing machine has stable gas pressure for dispensing operations.
Check the control system
Check the control program: Check whether the program logic of the gas pressure control in the control system of the dispensing machine is correct, and whether there are wrong instructions or abnormal algorithms that cause the gas pressure set value to be inconsistent with the actual output value. If necessary, contact the technical support personnel of the equipment manufacturer to update, debug or repair the fault code of the control program to ensure that the control system accurately regulates the gas pressure.
Electrical connection check: Carefully check whether the electrical circuits related to air pressure control are firmly connected and whether there are any loose connections or short circuits, because poor electrical connections may affect the power supply and signal transmission to air pressure control components (such as solenoid valves, pressure regulating valves, etc.), resulting in unstable air pressure. Repair any electrical connection problems found in a timely manner, reconnect the lines or replace damaged wires, etc.
