Fibre Hidden Silicone (FH Silicone) – A Special Silicone for Textile Printing
Fibre Hidden Silicone (FH Silicone) is a specialized silicone designed for textile printing. It primarily serves to suppress fabric fiber fuzz, enhancing print adhesion for a smoother and more durable finish. Below are its main applications and features:
1. Main Applications
(1) Flock Printing
Function: Acts as an adhesive to fix flock fibers and prevent shedding.
Advantages: Softer than regular glue, providing a better feel and excellent wash resistance.
(2) Foil Transfer (Gold/Silver Stamping)
Function: Serves as a base adhesive, ensuring strong adhesion of metallic foil to fabric.
Advantages: Produces a shinier foil effect that resists cracking and peeling.
(3) Heat Transfer Printing
Function: Enhances adhesion for certain transfer films, improving pattern bonding.
(4) Regular Ink Printing
Function: Covers the print surface to prevent fiber exposure ("fuzziness"), making edges clearer and sharper.
2. Suitable Fabrics
✔ Best Performance: Pure cotton, cotton blends (≥70% cotton content).
✔ Also Applicable: Canvas, denim, and other thick fabrics.
❌ Not Recommended: 100% polyester, nylon, or other smooth synthetic fibers (poor adhesion).
3. Key Advantages
✅ Prevents Fiber Exposure: Suppresses fabric fuzz for a more refined print.
✅ High Wash Resistance: Properly cured prints can withstand over 30 washes without peeling.
✅ Soft & Lightweight: Thinner than regular ink, maintaining garment comfort.
