Applicable scenarios for UL94V2 flame retardant silicone
V2 is a medium flame retardant grade, suitable for scenarios that have certain requirements for flame retardant performance but do not require extremely high protection, such as:
The shells of some electronic appliances, internal non-core components (such as plastic brackets, decorative parts);
Daily industrial plastic parts (such as mechanical shells in non-high temperature environments);
Scenarios that are more sensitive to cost and have less impact on the risk of dripping (because flaming dripping is allowed, it should be avoided for core components close to flammable materials).
Note: If the material needs to be used in high-risk scenarios (such as high-voltage components inside electrical appliances, structural parts close to fire sources), it usually needs to reach V0 or higher levels (such as 5VA/5VB).
