Organic silicon monomers are raw materials for the preparation of silicone oil, silicone rubber, silicone resin and silane coupling agents, mainly the following types:
Methyl chlorosilane
Introduction: Methyl monomer for short, it is the most important monomer in the organic silicon industry, accounting for more than 90% of the total monomer amount.
Use: It is the main raw material for the production of polydimethylsiloxane, based on which a variety of organic silicon products such as silicone oil, silicone rubber, silicone resin can be prepared.
Phenyl chlorosilane
Introduction: Phenyl monomer for short, it is an important member of organic silicon monomers.
Use: It can be used to synthesize organic silicon polymers with special properties, such as phenyl silicone oil, phenyl silicone rubber, etc., which can improve the heat resistance, radiation resistance and rigidity of organic silicon products.
Methyl vinyl chlorosilane
Introduction: The molecule contains both methyl and vinyl organic groups and chlorine atoms, and has some characteristics of methyl chlorosilane and vinyl chlorosilane.
Use: It is widely used in the production of organic silicon rubber. The introduction of vinyl as a cross-linking agent can make silicone rubber form a more stable cross-linking structure during the vulcanization process, and improve the vulcanization efficiency and physical properties of silicone rubber.
Ethyltrichlorosilane
Introduction: It belongs to the class of organochlorosilane monomers. The ethyl group and three chlorine atoms in its molecular structure give it specific chemical properties and reactivity.
Uses: It can be used to synthesize organosilicon compounds with different properties. It can also be used as a surface treatment agent to improve the surface properties of materials, such as improving the hydrophilicity or hydrophobicity of materials.
Propyltrichlorosilane
Introduction: It is similar to ethyltrichlorosilane. It is an organochlorosilane monomer, except that the ethyl group in the molecule is replaced by a propyl group.
Uses: In the synthesis of organosilicon materials, it can be used to adjust the properties of organosilicon polymers, such as changing its flexibility and solubility.
Vinyltrichlorosilane
Introduction: It contains vinyl and three chlorine atoms in the molecule. It is an important organosilicon monomer with high reactivity.
Uses: It is often used to prepare silane coupling agents. In the fields of glass fiber reinforced plastics, rubber, coatings, etc., it can be used as a coupling agent between inorganic materials such as glass fiber and organic resins, which can significantly improve the performance of composite materials.
γ-Chloropropyltrichlorosilane
Introduction: The molecule contains chloropropyl and three chlorine atoms. It is a special silicone monomer with high reactivity and functionality.
Uses: It can be used to prepare silicone materials with special properties. For example, the introduction of chloropropyl into silicone rubber can improve the oil resistance, solvent resistance and compatibility with other materials of silicone rubber.
Fluorosilicone monomer
Introduction: It is a kind of silicone monomer containing fluorine and silicon elements. It has unique physical and chemical properties, such as low surface energy, high chemical stability, good heat resistance and weather resistance.
