Silicone rubber is the largest and most widely used product among silicone products, mainly divided into three categories: room temperature silicone rubber, high temperature silicone rubber and liquid silicone rubber(LSR). With the release of new room temperature glue production capacity of enterprises, China's room temperature silicone rubber supply side continues to grow. In 2023, the domestic room temperature silicone rubber output will be 1.428 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 13%. At the same time, the incremental output of China's high temperature silicone rubber and liquid silicone rubber(LSR) will reach 1.01 million tons and 130,000 tons respectively in 2023. As one of the main products of silicone rubber, the output of room temperature glue has achieved significant growth in 2023. With the explosive growth of new installed capacity in the photovoltaic field, it has provided a strong impetus for the growth of room temperature silicone rubber consumption, further promoting the increase in room temperature silicone rubber production. Secondly, the output of high temperature silicone rubber has also grown steadily. With the continuous adjustment of the structure of the high temperature silicone rubber industry and the integration of the industrial chain, the product types and downstream application development of high temperature silicone rubber have been continuously enriched, further promoting the growth of its output. In addition, although liquid silicone rubber(LSR) accounts for a low proportion of silicone rubber, its output has also achieved steady growth. The steady growth in the consumption of liquid silicone rubber(LSR) in medical equipment, maternal and child health care and daily necessities has provided strong support for the growth of liquid glue production.
